set search method
Set how your phone searches for Contacts entries.
When you select Jump, your phone jumps to the first
entry matching the letters you enter, while you
enter the letters. When you select Find, your phone
waits until you enter letters and then tell it to
begin searching for entries that match those
letters.

Press Options, then scroll to Setup and press Select. Then
scroll to Search Method and press Change.

create mailing list
Create a mailing list that displays as a single
phonebook entry. When you send a message to a
mailing list, the message goes to all entries in that
list.

> Contacts > [New Entry] > Mailing List
Enter a name for the list and press Ok. Scroll to
Members and press the center key
Scroll to each entry you want to add and press

the center key . When you are finished
adding members, press Ok. Press Done to save
the mailing list.
