Installation Steps for PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series
Step 1 Check the power source, air conditioning equipment, and location of the installation site. For
details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Hardware Installation Manual.
Step 2 Check the safety notes for ensuring the correct and safe operation of the product. For details,
see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Safety and Regulatory Information.
Step 3 Confirm that no components are missing. See the packing list supplied with the main unit.
Step 4 Connect the input power cables to the main unit. For details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000
Series Installation Manual.
Step 5 Connect the console to the main unit. For details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series
Installation Manual.
Step 6 Power on the main unit. For details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Installation Manual.
Step 7 Set up the main unit (including UEFI settings, and initialization settings for partitions and the
MMB). For details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Installation Manual.
Step 8 Connect the MMB and perform the connection test. For details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000
Series Installation Manual.
Step 9 After connecting the MMB, set up the operation environment. For details, see the
PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Installation Manual.
Step 10 Install the OS and the software provided. For details, see the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series
Installation Manual and the manuals for the software provided.
Step 11 After installing the OS, perform the required work (such as setting the monitoring method,
saving setting information, making the security and SNMP settings). For details, see the
PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Installation Manual.
Step 12 Perform the remaining setup work required for the operation and management of the system.
