Troubleshooting

The following advice should help you to solve problems. If this doesn't work, the ex-

Problem
No playback.
Video is played back
without sound.
Remote control doesn't
work.
Possible cause
No power supply.
Dock is turned off.
Volume is set too low.
An incorrect source was se-
lected on the AV amplifi er/
TV set.
iPod/iPhone not compat-
ible.
iPod app not startet.
Cable for sound transmis-
sion is not connected.
Battery is isolated.
Battery is used up.
Solution
Check that the AC adapter
plug is properly seated. Check
the function of the socket with
another device.
Activate the dock using the but-
ton 8 .
Increase the volume using the
buttons 14 VOLUME. If neces-
sary, increase the volume on
the AV amplifi er/TV set.
Select the input jack which is
connected to the dock (see
page 9).
You can fi nd a current list of
compatible iPod/iPhone mod-
els on our website.
For the iPod Touch and iPhone
the "iPod" has to be started.
No sound is transmitted via the
video jacks "COMPOSITE" and
"S-VIDEO". Connect an audio
cable in addition (see page 9).
Remove the insulating strip
from the battery compartment.
Change the battery (see page
8).
