SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read this Instruction Manual before you attempt to connect or operate the appliance. Keep these instructions in good condition. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions. Save this Instruction Manual for future reference. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product.
PREPARATION FOR USE • Carefully remove all the components from the packaging and verify that you have all the necessary components. • Remove all packing materials from the individual components. Remove any descriptive labels that may be attached to the front panel of the main unit. Do not remove any labels or stickers on the back panels of the main unit.
When the operation of the remote control becomes intermittent or unsatisfactory, replace the original battery with a new 3-volt lithium battery. Slide out the battery holder from the remote control case. Place one 3V CR2025 battery in the battery holder with the print face up. If the battery is placed incorrectly the remote control will not work.

In the Standby mode, press on the top panel or MODE on the remote until the unit enters the clock set mode. ‘24H’ will flash on the display indicating that the clock is set for 24-hour cycle. Press on the top panel or the remote once to change the clock format to 12-hour cycle.

Tune to the desired frequency as follows: Automatic Tuning Press and hold until auto tuning starts. The tuner will search the FM band until it finds a station, it will then play station. Repeat this procedure until the tuner stops on your desired station.

In order to prevent unwanted distortion during iPod playback, it is recommended that you set the EQ in your iPod to the Off position. Go to the Main Menu in your iPod/iPhone and then select the Settings Menu, select the EQ Setting, and make sure that the EQ function is set to Off. (Main Menu > Settings Menu >...
Connect the Audio Output jacks of your auxiliary sound source (TV, VCR, DVD Player, Cassette Deck, Mini Disc player, etc.) to the AUX IN jack on the back panel of the unit. The auxiliary function will only function when the aux in jack has a suitable sound source applied via a suitable connection cable. Note: The connection cables are not included.
