DYNAMO/BATTERY
When the radio does not operate properly or the sound weakens,
replace the AA batteries.
Warning: Dispose of batteries promptly and properly; do not bury
or burn them.
Caution: If you do not plan to use the radio for a week or more,
remove the AA batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can
destroy electronic parts.

Using AC or DC Power

You can power the radio from AC power using a 3V, 200mA AC
adapter and a size M Adaptaplug adapter (neither supplied), or
from a vehicle's 12V cigarette-lighter socket or similar power
source using a 3V, 200mA DC adapter and a size M Adaptaplug
adapter (neither supplied). Both are available at your local
RadioShack store.
Cautions:
• You must use a (Class 2 for AC) power source that supplies
3V DC and delivers at least 200mA. Its center tip must be set
to positive and its plug must fit the radio's
an adapter that does not meet these specifications could
damage the radio or the adapter.
• Always connect the AC or DC adapter to the radio before you
connect it to the power source. When you finish, disconnect
the adapter from the power source before you disconnect it
from the radio.
