- The appliance can be connected to the water and electrical supplies even - Do not attempt to modify or otherwise alter the Forbes Designa in any way. when not in use. This could result in injury and/or damage to property which are not covered - The appliance must not be operated without the Dual Filter Cartridge by any warranty. -

Installation Installation of divertor valve to the existing water tap The Forbes Designa is very convenient to use as tabletop and wall mounted. The unit has to be connected to running water tap, near the sink. A 3-pin power socket with earthing is required for this product. -

Installation Wall mounted installation If the water purifier is to be wall mounted, proceed as follows: 1. Wall mount the purifier within 1 metre from tap. Fig 1 2. Drill three holes 43-45 mm deep in the wall according to the positions of holes in the wall bracket. -

Maintenance Replacing the Dual Filter Cartridge The Dual Filter Cartridge needs to be replaced once in six months. 1. Disconnect the power plug. 2. T o open the removable top cover (Item 10, page 2) push the release button. 3. Open the filter house lid by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow on the filter housing top. -

Pull out the Dual Filter Cartridge with the help of hook, as shown in the figure. For better performance of your Forbes Designa, it is recommended to back flush the Dual Filter Cartridge once in 15 days as following: Place the Dual Filter Cartridge onto the lid, in such a way that the projection of the lid is inserted into the cartridge. -

Maintenance Descaling procedure 1. Disconnect the power plug. 2. T ake down the appliance from the wall (if wall mounted) and put it on a flat surface. 3. T ake out the Dual Filter Cartridge, keep the water in the filter house. (See instructions for replacing the Dual Filter Cartridge, page 7). -

If the Forbes Designa Stops Working - Trouble shooting guide T rouble Cause R emedy Red lamp lit. The room temperature is low, less then 8 °C Place the product in a warmer place. In a cold environment it could take up to 5 minutes after you turn on the purifier for the green light to lit up. -
