Caution
Do not make any
needle position
adjustment while
the needle is in
the fabric.
Switch off the
machine.
Turn the tension adjusting screw '1'
clockwise (in direction of the marker
'+'), the bobbin thread tension will
increase.
Turn the tension adjusting screw '1'
counterclockwise (in direction of
the marker '-'), the bobbin thread
tension will decrease.
Left, Center and Right needle posi-
tion settings are available for place-
ment of both straight and zigzag
stitching (see Figure25).
To position, push lever in and move
to desired setting.
Center setting:
Normal sewing.
Left/Right setting:
Only used when special place-
ment of stitching is desired.
