Turning the button sound on and off

If you prefer the buttons to be silent
when touched, you can turn the button
sound off.
^ Touch and leave your finger on the X
button.
^ Now tap once on the On/Off button
(without releasing the X button!).
^ Keep your finger on the X button for
another 5 seconds until c appears in
the display.
^ Keep tapping the Xbutton until b is
displayed.
^ Tap the On/Off button to confirm.
^ By tapping the X button, you can
now select whether you would like
the button sound to be on or off:
b 0: Button sound is off
b 1: Button sound is on
b –: Return to menu.
The old setting lights up, and the newly
selected setting flashes.
^ Tap the On/Off button to confirm the
new setting.
^ Keep tapping the Xbutton until c is
displayed.
^ Tap the On/Off button.
You have now left the settings mode.

The safety lock can be activated to
prevent the appliance being turned off
inadvertently.
^ Touch and leave your finger on the X
button.
^ Now tap once on the On/Off button
(without releasing the X button!).
^ Keep your finger on the X button for
another 5 seconds until c appears in
the display.
^ Keep tapping the Xbutton until u is
displayed.
^ Tap the On/Off button to confirm.
^ By tapping the X button, you can
now select whether you would like
the safety lock to be on or off:
u 0: Safety lock is activated
u 1: Safety lock is deactivated
u –: Return to menu.
The old setting lights up, and the newly
selected setting flashes.
