Add entries to the directory

Add entries to the directory
While you have a caller ID entry displayed, follow
the steps below to enter it into your telephone
directory.
1. Press CID when the phone is not in use. CID
EMPTY will be displayed if there are no call
history entries in the handset.
2. Press /SELECT, then press
MENU
until PROGRAM is flashing.
3. Press /SELECT and edit the name and
MENU
number as desired.
4. Press /SELECT, then press
MENU
to alternate between Y and N. If you choose
Y (and if you have caller ID service), a distinct
ring tone will alert you when this person calls.
5. Press /SELECT to confirm, the entry is
MENU
added to the phone directory.
NOTE: The entry copied to your telephone directory
remains in the call history until deleted.
