When viewing special playback pictures
• Occurrence of noise on the screen does not indicate any trouble.
• Tapes recorded on other VCRs may show severe noise.

Screen search (During
playback)
Turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise
or counterclockwise.
• The screen will fast forward or fast
rewind.
• The speed is variable by
turning the SHUTTLE ring.
To return to normal playback
• Release the SHUTTLE ring.
