Connect your TV (or projector) to the HDMI OUT jack,
the COMPONENT VIDEO MONITOR OUT jacks, the
S VIDEO MONITOR OUT jack or the VIDEO
MONITOR OUT jack of this unit.
Make sure that this unit and other
components are unplugged from the
AC wall outlets.

• You can choose to play back HOM! audio signals on this unit or
on another HOM! component connected to the HOM! OUT
jack of this unit Use the "S.AUDIO" parameter in "OPTION
MENU" to select the component to play back HOMI audio
signals (see page 10 I).
• When you use the internal tuner of the TV as the input source,
connect the digital or analog audio output jacks of the TV and
digital or analog audio input jacks of this unit Refer to
"Connecting a set-top box" on page 22 for connecting
information,
• If a video monitor is connected to this unit via a OVI
connection, you may not take full advantage of the HOMI
features.
• Some video monitors connected to this unit via a OVI
connection fail to recognize the HOMI audio/video signals
being input if they are in the standby mode. In this case, the
HOM I indicator flashes irregularly,
• If the connected video monitor is compatible with the automatic
audio and video synchronization feature (automatic lip sync
feature), this unit adjusts the audio and video timing
automatically (see page 94). Connect the video monitor to the
HOMI OUT jack of this unit to use the feature.
