Aboutthe types of tapes
used
with
TAPELIBRARYDELUXE
Only E-180 and E-240 tapes can
be used for TAPE LIBRARY
DELUXE timer recording. If other
types of tapes are used, the
remaining duration may not be
correctly calculated.
TAPE LIBRARY DELUXE timer
recordings are only possible on
new (virgin) tapes or on tapes
containing TAPE LIBRARY
DELUXE recording data
information.
Itisrecommended
to keeptapes
used for the TAPE LIBRARY
DELUXE timer recording function,
separate from other types of tapes.
If for any reason the tape is not
racorded from the beginning, it may
be interpreted as being a new
(virgin) tape.
The following may happen if a tape
has mixed types recordings.
If the beginning of the tape carries
TAPELIBRARYDELUXE recording
signals, then the tape will be
interpreted as being recorded
using the TAPE LIBRARY DELUXE
function,
When the recording list is
displayed, "--"
will be displayed
where normal recordings are
found.
If the beginning of the tape carries
normal recording signals, then the
tape will be interpreted as carrying
only normal recordings.
When the recording list is
displayed, "--"
will be displayed
where TAPE LIBRARY DELUXE
recordings are found,
About the contents list
The contents list displayed on the TV
screen will show the recording data
for a maximum of 6 programmed
recorded using the standard method
or 4 programmed recorded using the
TAPE LIBRARY DELUXE method,
After the maximum number of
programmed recording data is
displayed, the next recording data is
searched and displayed,

TAPE LIBRARY DELUXE SYSTEM
The settings
(channel,
time and date, etc.) of previous
timer
recordings
made on
this
VCR
are memorised
as recording data in the TAPE LIBRARY.
Using the TAPE LIBRARY DELUXE function, you can reuse the recording data of
previous timer recordings
to overwrite the recording of a series programme
always
broadcast at the same time (for example a weekly programmed).
Also, using the contents list of the recording data of recordings
made using this
VCR,
you can easily
select
a desired
programme
to search
and start playback
automatically.
