Questions and answers
Hi, How to fix if the nozzel is not pulling back after vacuum and is not sealing properly.
To fix the U-Line H-1075 nozzle that is not pulling back and not sealing properly:
1. Nozzle Not Pulling Back:
- Check incoming air pressure. It should be set to 75–85 psi.
- Adjust the Nozzle Extend Flow Control to control the nozzle speed (reduce or increase the opening to slow down or speed up the nozzle movement).
- Realign the Pressure Bar pistons if the Pressure Bar does not close. To do this, disconnect air pressure and close the jaw by hand.
2. Not Sealing Properly:
- Increase heat time settings.
- Check the heating element for hot spots or burns. Replace the element if needed.
- Ensure the element is extended all the way to the right.
- Tighten element finger nuts and ensure there are no gaps.
- Clean all contact surfaces.
- Check the fuse and replace it if it is burnt out.
- If the seal has gaps or creases, ensure the bag is flat and crease-free when the vacuum jaw closes. Replace the element and Teflon® if damaged.
- Increase both heat and cool times if the seal remains weak.
