Cleaning the Microwave Oven Interior
A minimum of maintenance is needed to keep the microwaveovenclean and trouble
free.The oven itselfshouldbe cleaned after each usewith a damp clothto keep it free
from grease and soilbuildup.Stubbornsoilscan be removedwith a plasticscrubpad.
When cleaninginterior surfacesand surfacesof doorand oventhatcometogetherwhen
the doorisclosed,useonlymild,nonabrasive soapsor detergents appliedwitha sponge
or soft cloth.
Odors can be eliminatedfrom the inside of the oven by boilinga solutionof one cup
of water and severaltablespoons of lemonjuice in the oven for 5-7 minutes.This also
helpsloosenanydried soilin the oven.Beverycareful nottoscratchthedoor and interi-
or surface. Wipe out excess moistureafter every use.
DO NOT USE abrasivecleaners,oven cleaners, abrasivecleaning pads or steel wool,
as they can scratchor dull oven surfaces or remove letteringon oven door.

oven walls can be scratchedand the controlpanel can be damaged.

Special note when usingBrown'N Sear Dish:If grease is present,high heat generated
on bottomof a Brown 'n Sear dish may cause the grease to burn onto the oven floor.
This may be removedwith a cleanser such as Bon Ami.
AfterusingBonAmi, rinseand dry thoroughly, followinginstructions on can. Do not use
Bon Ami on the painted surfacessuch as the walls. It may scratchthe paint.
