SPEAKER SYSTEM
The Deseret 115 is available with an external speaker
system only.
The external speaker system has four inde-
pendent channels.
Two Rodgers/Klipsch LaScala cabinets are recommended
as the minimum speaker complement.
RODGERS TRANSPOSER"
The transposer is an option available on all Rodgers
Organs.
It raises or lowers the pitch of the organ four
semi tones (half-steps) in either direction.
The transposer
is controlled by eight pitch-changing pistons and a neutral
position piston on the right Swell piston rail.
There is
also a corresponding light panel to inform the organist of
the position of the transposer, to avoid confusion.
The transposer is especially useful to an organist who
does much accompanying.
It saves the time and effort needed
to mentally transpose music on the printed sheet into a
different key.
Many singers need to change keys to accom-
modate their voice range -- sometimes as far as a major third
in either direction.
