CONNECTING OPTIONAL DEVICES

It is possible to connect various optional devices,
either directly to the Pedion or to the Multimedia
Pack. This chapter provides advice on the types of
devices that can be connected, and how to connect
them.
Suspend or shut down?
In some cases, you must suspend or shut down the Pedion
before connecting an optional device. The procedure for
the device in question makes this clear.

PC Cards (also called PCMCIA cards)

Infrared devices

Universal Serial Bus (USB) devices

Printer (or some other parallel port device)

Serial port device

External keyboard or numeric keypad

Mouse

External colour monitor
