4. Supported Services While the SUR-0500 will control the normal services found within a Savant system. There are limitations to the amount of control that is available from some services. Keep this in mind when designing control for a zone.
Select the room the SUR-0500 will be used in the Services For drop-down menu. Uncheck the Show column for any services that are not to be controlled by the SUR-0500. NOTE: Any service that is unchecked in the show column will not appear on the SUR-0500 or iOS devices for that zone. IMPORTANT! If the Show column is unchecked on all services, a blank screen will appear on the remote.
Open the Custom Workflow Usage window: Tools > Review > Custom Workflow Usage Check the box in the UI column to use the workflow on the SUR-0500. Repeat step 5 for the remaining workflows and click Done to save the changes.

Savant recommends not implementing any type of traffic or packet shaping in your network topology for the Savant devices as this may interfere with performance.
This requires the use of da Vinci 7.0.1 or higher on the host. • SCR 42090 - The SUR-0500 does not contain a button to enter a “-” (dash) for services that use this button. The “.” (dot) button can now be used as a “-” (dash) for TV, Cable TV, and Sat TV services.
