Initial Set-Up

Setting up Before Use

1. Insert the batteries by opening the battery door on the back of the Scales. Make
sure to insert correctly using the +/- marks on the inside of the compartment. At
this point the display will show 8888.
2. Close the battery compartment door and wait until the display reads 0.0kg.
3. Download the Kinetik Health App from the Android or Apple Store on to your
chosen device.
4. Now, pair the Scales with your chosen device. You need to open the App on
your device and turn on Bluetooth.
CAUTION
When the symbol appears, the device will power off in four seconds. Then you should replace with a
new set of batteries. Please replace all three batteries at the same time. Do NOT mix the old batteries
with the new one.
Worn batteries are hazardous waste. Do NOT dispose of them together with the household waste.
Please refer to the local authority and recycling instructions regarding disposal of the worn batteries.
Setting up Before Use
5. When this is done, press and hold the button marked 'UNIT' on the reverse of
the Scales to start pairing. You will see the following symbol alternating in the
display to show you this is in progress.
6. Once done the display will show the [ ].
7. If it displays E1, start the process again.
8. The Scales will return to 0.0 and power done after 1 minute, even if the pairing
was unsuccessful.
9. Set the measurement unit you want to use – kg or stones / lbs – by pressing the
UNIT button on the back. Repeat to alternate between the two
