UNPACKING
Unpack the unit carefully and make sure that all
accessories and cables are put aside so they w ill not be lost
Examine the unit for any possibility of shipping
damage. If your unit is damaged or fails to operate. notify
your dealer immediately. If your un1 t was shipped to you di-
rectly. notify the shipping company without delay. Only the
cons ignee (t he person or co mpany receiving the unit) can file
a c laim against the earner for shipping damage.
We recommend that you retain t he origina l ca rto n and
packing m ateml s for use should you transport or ship the
unit in the futu re .
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
(a ) Avoid (ocat ions subject to direct sun li ght
(b) Avoid high or low temperature extremes.

Keep the un it away from heat radiating sources.
(d) Choose a location that is relatively free of vibrati o n or
excessive du st.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
CLEANING
Do not use volat ile solvents such as alcohol. pai nt thin-
ner. gasoline. benzine. etc. to clean the c abin et. Use a si-
licone cloth or a c lean dry cloth .
SERVICE OR MODIFICATIONS
Do not remove the cabinet or touch internal parts
Refer all service to qualified se rvi ce personnel. Unauthorized
mod1 f1c ations can result in a dangerous shock hazard and
can void the warranty.
POWER CORD
A lways msert or remove the pow er plu g from the AC
outlet by grasping the plu g body. Never pu ll or stretch th e
cord. Take care that th e co rd is not subject to traffic or bent
sharply aro und f urniture. Keep heavy obj ects off th e cord ;
never route it und er rugs. and avoid the use of extra
extension cords. Attentio n to th ese p recautions will avoid
fire or shock hazards.

switch on the rear panel. Refer to the following pa -
ragraph for the proper setting of this switch.
