Take off instructions:
Connect the Hydra's power, and place on level ground. The LEDs will flash several times
quickly. Turn on the remote control. Push the left stick fully forwards, and then backwards.
You will hear a beep. Then push both sticks to the bottom right. The control light will become
steady, and the Hydra LEDs will flash. The Hydra is now ready to be controlled.
To ascend, push forward on
Ascend
the left stick.
To descend, pull the left stick
Descend
backwards.
Use the left stick to rotate the Hydra.
Change
Push it left to turn left, and right to turn right.
Direction
To move the Hydra forward,
Forward
push the right stick forward.
To move the Hydra backwards,
Backward
pull the right stick backwards.
When hovering, press the demo button,
Demo
and the Hydra will fly from left to right 5 times.
Forward
In plenty of space, hold the right stick forward and
press the roll button. The Hydra will do a forward roll.
Roll
Backward
In plenty of space, hold the right stick back and
press the roll button. The Hydra will do a backward roll.
Roll
Left
In plenty of space, hold the right stick left and
press the roll button. The Hydra will roll to the left.
Roll
Right
In plenty of space, hold the right stick right and
press the roll button. The Hydra will roll to the right.

SPECIAL CONTROLS: If the Hydra doesn't fly straight, it may need trimming.
Follow the instructions below to trim your Hydra, and make it easier to control.
If the Hydra is rotating counter-clockwise, it needs to be
trimmed. To do this, move the rotation trim switch to the right
until the rotation stops.
If the Hydra is rotating clockwise, it needs to be trimmed. To do
this, move the rotation trim switch to the left until the rotation
stops.
If the Hydra is always moving to the left, it needs to be trimmed.
To do this, move the left/right trim switch to the right until the
movement stops.
If the Hydra is always moving to the right, it needs to be
trimmed. To do this, move the left/right trim switch to the left
until the movement stops.
If the Hydra is always moving forwards, it needs to be
trimmed. To do this, move the forward/back trim switch
backwards until the movement stops.
If the Hydra is always moving backwards, it needs to be
trimmed. To do this, move the forward/back trim switch forwards
until the movement stops.
nOTice
When the Hydra is close to the ground, the wind from its own rotors can cause it to
become unstable. Flying the Hydra higher off the ground will allow it to fly more smoothly.
