BaTTerY insTrucTiOns
1. To install batteries:
open the cover of battery case. (Pic1)
2. Place 3 x 1.5 AA (LR6) Alkaline batteries into the
box with correct polarity orientation.
(batteries not included). (Pic 2)
3. Close the battery cover.
BaTTerY cHarging
To charge the Hydra, first make sure that the power
switch is off. Remove the battery cover from the
underside of the Hydra and connect the charging
cable to the battery. Plug the USB plug into a
computer USB socket and the Hydra will charge.
The LED will remain lit while charging, and will
extinguish when the battery is fully charged.
Warning on li-poly battery:
Do not put the battery into fire or near a high heat source.
Do not place battery onto hot surfaces.
Keep the battery in a dry and low-temperature environment.
Only use the charger supplied to charge the battery.
Do not over-charge the battery.
Do not connect the battery with other cicuits.
Turn off the power of the product immediately after use to save battery power.
BesT cOnDiTiOns fOr fligHT
Do not fly in strong winds. High winds will greatly affect the
control of the Hydra. Do not fly in extreme temperature,
this will affect the battery and the time of flight of the Hydra.
Where possible, fly the Hydra in wide-open spaces, away from
buildings, animals and other people.
nOTice:
Be sure to fly the Hydra in plenty of open space.
If the indicator light on the control begins to flash, the
batteries are low on power and may need replacing.

Tail Blade Replacement:
If a blade needs to be
replaced, it is important to
make sure that the same
type of blade is used. Only
replace type A blades with
type A, and type B with
type B. The blade types spin
in opposite directions. Tail
blade A spins anti-clockwise,
B spins clockwise.
ATTENTION! Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be charged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy
before being charged. Different types of batteries or new and used
batteries are not to be mixed. Batteries are to be inserted with the
correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the
toy. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. RECYCLING
BATTERIES, WASTE ELECTRICAL and ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT Dispose
of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
Help the environment, dispose of batteries and electrical products
responsibly. Batteries must not be disposed of in domestic waste
as they can contain substances which can be damaging to the
environment and health. Please contact your local authority for
designated collection points or recycling facility.
notes:
The Hydra charges in 150 minutes.
The flight time is approx. 6 minutes.
After use, allow the battery to cool for
5 - 10 mins before charging. Ensure the
motors have cooled before flying.
