  • Page 6 2. Wait for the Splash to fully enter Bluetooth mode. You will hear either “Bluetooth connected” if you previously connected a phone to your Splash, OR you will hear “Waiting for connection” if you did not. When you hear one of those phrases, you may go to step #3. 3.

  • Page 8 If prompted for a PIN code, enter “0000” (4 zeros) It will take between 10-15 seconds for the Splash to pair with your device. When pairing is successful, you will hear the Splash say “Bluetooth connected!” and the Bluetooth status light will remain steadily lit NOTE: Procedures for activating Bluetooth will vary across devices.
  • Page 9 MUTE (in Line-in mode): While in Line-in mode, clicking the Action button once mutes the sound. Clicking it again un-mutes the sound. Volume Up Volume Down CONTROLLING VOLUME Press or hold the volume keys to adjust the volume. When you reach maximum volume, the Splash will say “Maximum volume!”.
  • Page 10 USB Charging Port Micro- CHARGING THE SPLASH’S BATTERY: For best results, ensure the Splash is fully charged before use. Connect the supplied Micro-USB cable into the charging port , and plug the USB side into your computer or a USB AC adapter (adapter not supplied).
  • Page 11 Built-in Microphone – Making and Taking Calls The Splash may be used as a wireless speakerphone when paired with your phone via Bluetooth. Use your phone to dial as usual, and speak toward the built-in microphone located at the top of the unit. The built-in microphone only works when your phone/device is connected via Bluetooth.
  • Page 12 Previous Track Next Track When you are streaming audio via Bluetooth, you may press the button to skip forward to the next track in your playlist. Press the button to skip back to the previous track in your playlist, or to the beginning of your current track. Listening to the FM Radio: The Splash Trail+ comes with an integrated FM antenna that allows it to pick up FM radio stations.

Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to switch between stations that showed up clearly during the scan in Step #2 EXAMPLE: While scanning for stations, the Splash turns up stations A, B, and C. Starting on station A, pressing the Next Track button would switch the Splash to station B, and pressing it again would then switch it to station C.

    Ensure the Splash is fully charged before using as a USB speaker. Your computer’s USB port may not be able to supply enough power to charge and play music at the same time. WATERPROOF & DUSTPROOF PERFORMANCE The Splash is designed to be waterproof and dustproof. Damage caused from misuse, abuse or failure to properly maintain the Splash is not covered by the limited warranty.

Turn Bluetooth off and then on again on your phone/device. If the NUU Splash still won’t pair, remove it from the list of discoverable devices and retry the pairing process from the start.

    Read all instructions and warnings before using this product to ensure your personal safety and prevent property damage. • The cover over the charging and AUX-IN port MUST be closed in order for the NUU Splash to be waterproof. Press firmly on the cover to ensure it is closed and sealed.
  • Page 20 Do not use abrasive cleaners on this product. Wipe it with a soft, water-dampened cloth. • Only charge the battery in accordance with the user manual supplied. Use only the manufacturer supplied charger. Using other chargers could result in electric shock and/or damage the NUU Splash. Using other chargers will void the warranty.
