Quick Installation Manual

Grid parameter is last. AS 4777.2/3 should be shown
already. If another grid code is present wave your
hand in front of the inverter screen until AS 4777.2/3
is shown.

Hold your hand in front of the inverter until the
progress bar on the screen is full to lock grid code
setting.
To setup the time and date see section 5
5 Time and date setup with Laptop/ Tablet/ Smartphone
To connect to inverter via Laptop/ Tablet/ Smartphone use an Ethernet cable (Cat5)
or e.Connect.
Connect the inverter to your Laptop with Ethernet
cable using the Ethernet port at the bottom of the
inverter.
For Smartphone/ Tablet WiFi connection use
e.Connect.
Plug e.Connect to inverter using supplied
cable.
Turn e.Connect on and wait until the 3 lights are green (see picture) .
Connect with your device to the Bosch PowerTec e.Connect WiFi network
(password boschaus).
On your device open a web browser (Mozilla Firefox is preferred) and enter the
inverter IP address on the address line. You can find the IP address by waving your
hand in front of the screen (usual IP format is 192.168.xxx.xxx). Hit enter or Go.
On the first page the Country, Language and Grid code settings are shown. As these
have already been setup via e.Key or Gestures hit the Next button to move to the
next page.
Enter the time - date information and hit next and/or save until you get to the e.Data
homepage.
