4. Push [ ] or [▼] to select the desired
intership channel, and push [DSC].
- Channel 70 is selected and "READY" appears.
5. Push [DSC] to transmit the Group call.
- If Channel 70 is busy, the transceiver stands
by until the channel become clear.

6. After the Group call has been transmitted,
the display changes to the previously specified
channel.
7. Push and hold [PTT] to communicate your
message to the responding ship.
■ Receiving A Group Call
While monitoring Channel 70 and a Group
Call is received:
1. The emergency alarm or beeps sound
depending on the received category.
