■ Network
The menu options you see in your phone are based on your service provider's network.
The network determines which options actually appear in the phone menu. Check with
your service provider for more information.
The
Network
menu allows you to customize the way your phone chooses a network in
which to operate while you are within or outside of your primary or home system. Your
phone is set to search for the most cost-effective network. If your phone cannot find a
preferred network, it selects a network automatically based on the option you choose in
the
Network
menu.

Roaming options

You can set your phone to roam or search for another network when you are not in your
home area.
1. At the start screen, select
2. Select one of the following options:
Home
only—When this option is selected, the phone will operate in the home service
area only.
Automatic
A—Allows the phone to look for service on the A side of the frequency
band first. If it cannot find a digital service, it will use an analog one. The roaming
rate applies when not in the home service area.
Automatic
B—Allows the phone to look for service on the B side of the frequency
band first. If it cannot find a digital service, it will use an analog one. The roaming
rate applies when not in the home area.
3. Press OK, if necessary, to confirm the activation.
