Air View Settings

With Air view, you can preview information, extend text selection, or enlarge pictures by hovering your
finger over the screen.
Use Air view in these applications:
Calendar: See more details by hovering your finger over an events.
Gallery: View the pictures in an album by hovering your finger over the album.
Video player: Preview a scene or show the elapsed time by hovering your finger over the
progress bar.
Phone: Preview the contacts assigned to speed dial numbers by hovering your finger over the
keypad.
Access Air View Settings
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Air view, and then tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the feature on.
3. Set options:
Air view mode: Use the S Pen, your Finger, or Auto switch between the two when using Air
view.
Air view pen options:
Information preview: A preview of information, the full text, or zoomed-in image is
shown on the screen.
Progress preview: Preview a scene or show the elapsed time by hovering your pen over
the progress bar.
Speed dial preview: Preview the contacts assigned to speed dial numbers by hovering
your pen over the keypad.
Icon labels: Icon labels will be shown.
List scrolling: Scroll down or up lists by holding the pen over the edge over the screen.
Link preview: Hover your pen over a link to preview the linked content.
Air menu: Hover your pen over the action button to attach or insert content, attach
contacts, or add recipients to a message.
Sound and haptic feedback: Play sound and vibrate when hovering your pen over air
view items.
