Text-to-speech Options
Text-to-speech (TTS) provides audible readout of text, for example, the contents of text messages and
the Caller ID for incoming calls.
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Text-to-speech options:
Preferred TTS engine: Select Samsung text-to-speech engine, or Pico TTS. Tap
configure options.
General:
Speech rate: Choose a rate for text readouts.
Listen to an example: Play an example of speech used for readouts.
Default language status: View the status of language support for voice recognition.

Mouse/Trackpad Settings

This feature allows you to adjust the speed of an external mouse/trackpad (not included).
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Pointer speed to set the pointer speed.

Voice Control

Use voice commands to control your phone.
1. From home, tap
2. Tap Voice control, and then tap ON/OFF to turn the feature on. Options include:
Incoming calls: Answer or reject calls with the voice commands "Answer" and "Reject". The
speaker will turn on when you answer a call with a voice command.
Alarm: Stop or snooze alarms with the voice commands "Stop" and "Snooze".
Camera: Take pictures with the voice commands "Capture", "Shoot", "Smile", and "Cheese",
or record videos with the voice command "Record video".
Music: Control Music with the voice commands "Next", "Previous", "Play", "Pause", "Volume
up", and "Volume down".
