When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed

on the kettle.

dry and level surface.
Always store the excess portion of
the power cord in the the base unit.

power cord to ensure no damage is
evident. Should there be any signs that
the cord is damaged in the slightest,
the entire appliance should be returned.
Always return the kettle after a
malfunction, or if it has been damaged
in any manner.
Always exercise caution in carrying
the kettle when it is full of boiling
water and when pouring.
Always avoid excessive tilting of the
kettle after filling.
Always beware of steam being emitted
from the spout or lid especially during
refilling.
Always unplug the kettle from the
socket after use and before cleaning.
Always allow the kettle to cool before
cleaning and storing.

Never open the lid during the boiling cycle.
Never fill above the MAX mark as hot
water may be ejected.
Never allow the kettle to boil dry. If the
kettle does boil dry, allow it to cool, unplug
it and refill it with cold water.
Never fill the kettle when it is positioned
on the power base.
Never place the kettle on or near a hot
gas or electric burner or where it could
touch a heated oven or microwave oven.
Never use a power base other than the
one supplied with the kettle.
Never insert any object into any slots or
holes of the kettle.
Never operate the kettle with a damaged
cord or plug or after a malfunction or if it
has been dropped or damaged in any
manner.
