General information
The 60ST series is a range of domestic hot water tanks to be
combined with external heat source, such as heat pump,
boiler, or other devices.
All models are provided with a temperature sensor to detect
the water temperature inside the tank and with an electrical

heater (booster heater), activated by a 230 V control signal.
The 60STS range is provided with 1 coil while the 60STD
range is provided with 2 coils, allowing therefore the
combination of multiple heat sources (i.e. heat pump +
solar).
Control
Booster heater is activated by a 230 V control signal, to be
connected to the terminal block (see paragraph Electrical
connections).
Booster heater is provided with a self-reset regulation
thermostat, to be set at the maximum desired temperature
(considering disinfection cycles), and with a manual reset
safety thermostat, disconnecting the heater when water
temperature (in the heater region) reaches 90°C.
Water temperature sensor is connected to the terminal
block in the control box (see paragraph Electrical
connections).
Connect a control device to the system and set it to avoid
thermal cut out operation.
In case of combination with Carrier unit, check its
compatibility with 60ST range.
In case of installation with solar panels (60STD) connect
a solar control to the system and place its temperature
sensors in the provided slots (Fig.1 and 2, items 4, 5, 11).
