Do not tow the vehicle backwards.
Doing so may cause serious damage.

To prevent the steering from locking
Vehicles without a smart key system: Ensure the engine switch is in the
"ACC" position.
Vehicles with a smart key system: Ensure the engine switch is in ACCES-
SORY mode.
