• Never carry out measurements on live parts •
Adhere to the measuring ranges in the sensor.
Overheating will destroy the probe.
• Observe the permissible storage and trans-
port temperatures as well as the permissible
operating temperature (e.g. protect the instru-
ment from direct sunlight) • Do not carry out
the humidity adjustment without reference humi-
dity • Inexpert handling or use of force make
your warranty claim invalid • If the ambient
temperature changes (e.g. change in location,
measurement inside/outside) the instrument
needs a few minutes to adapt.

When the instrument is switched on a short dis-
play and function test is carried out.
The instrument is then ready to operate.
Changing the battery
"Bat" appears in the display when the battery lifetime remaining is approx. 10 hours. The instrument swit-
ches off automatically if the battery power is insufficient. Unscrew housing, remove used battery and put in
new battery (type: 9 V block) (observe polarity).

Maintenance and Adjustment
The humidity sensor should be checked once a
year using our humidity adjustment containers if
used in the HVAC sector and every 3 months if
HOLD
used in a more hostile environment.
MAX/MIN
The control and adjustment set must
be kept at a constant temperature (20
to 30 °C) for approx. 12 hours prior to
controlling or adjusting. Never carry
out an adjustment without the test
container.

1) Screw off cover on adjustment
container (75.3% RH). Insert probe in
opening.
2) Change instrument to adjustment (CAL) mode
(see "Changing the settings") after waiting 70
minutes. Press the Hold key at CAL „YES" to
take over the new adjustment value.
