Setting up a partnership
Immediately after you have completed the installation, the New
Partnership wizard will start automatically to help you establish a
partnership and customize your synchronization settings. At this point, you
can decide exactly which types of information you would like to
synchronize with your computer.
A partnership is a file that allows you to synchronize your device
with your desktop computer. This file is stored on your desktop
computer. An additional file that enables your desktop computer to
recognize your device is stored on your device.
To set up a partnership:
1. When the New Partnership
screen appears, select Standard
partnership for the type of
partnership to establsih between
your device and your computer.
2. On the next screen, select
Synchronize with the desktop
computer. Click Next.
3. Select the type of information that
you wish to synchronize. Click
If you wish to customize a
synchronized item, highlight the
item then click Settings.
