Using The Automatic Volume Control Function
The Automatic volume control function automatically adjusts the volume of your music to the
surrounding noise level. If the Automatic volume control option is activated, the music volume will
increase or decrease along with the surrounding noise level.
• To activate/deactivate the Automatic volume
control function, open the AudioFX menu
and rotate the CONTROL knob to select Auto-
matic volume control. Push the ENTER Button.
Rotate the CONTROL knob to select Activate
and push the ENTER button. A check mark will
appear when the feature is selected.
• To change the sensitivity of this function,
open the AudioFX menu and rotate the
CONTROL knob to select Automatic volume
control. Push the ENTER Button. Rotate the
CONTROL knob to select Amplitude and push
the ENTER button. Select between Smooth,
Normal or Nervous and push the ENTER button to select.
Phone
Contacts
The Alfa 4C Audio System automatically down-
loads your contacts from your paired phone, if
this feature is supported by your phone. Entries
are updated each time the phone is connected.
If your contact entries do not appear, check the
settings on your phone. Some phones require
you to enable this feature manually.
Your contacts can be browsed on your radio
screen, but editing can only be done on your
phone. To browse your downloaded contacts
push the MENU
CONTROL knob to select a contact. Push the
ENTER button to call the selected contact.
NOTE:
• Only the contacts stored in the phone memory are synchronized. If your contacts are stored in
your SIM card memory, transfer them to your phone memory.
• The automatic synchronization is limited to 2,000 contacts for each paired phone and to 8,000
contacts for all paired phones. Each time you change your directory, synchronization will start
automatically the next time the phone is connected.
