    Safety precautions Electrical components must be fitted only by qualified personnel. The spotlight must be disconnected from the mains before any work is carried out on it. Maintain the minimum safety distance 0.2m from flammable materials. Before working on the spotlight (fitting it, changing the bulb or inserts, aligning the spotlight head, etc.), always switch it off and let it cool for at least 30 minutes.

    1 Preparing Più plaster ring Create a circular opening with a 166 mm diameter. Ceiling thickness: 10 mm to max. 35 mm. dia. 166 mm 10-35 mm Guide the plaster ring through the opening. Should the cavity be too shallow, unscrew the perforated plate from the plaster ring.
  • Page 13 1 Preparing Più plaster ring Insert the plaster ring into the opening with the grooved edge facing downwards. Using 4 drywall screws (supplied), screw down the perforated plate of the plaster ring through the ceiling panel.
  • Page 14 1 Preparing Più plaster ring Adjust the plaster ring to the level of the plaster by screwing it in or out. To fix the position at which the plaster ring is set, screw the supplied screw into the plaster ring so that it is flush.

  • Page 21 1 Preparing Più retaining ring for panels Screwing in from below (e.g. for dry walling): Fit the retaining ring using the centring aid. Mark out the position of the drill holes using a long centre punch. Remove the retaining ring and centring aid.
  • Page 22 2 Fitting – mounting the spot When delivered, the LED bulb is already installed in the head. Do not touch the surface of the LED (yellow surface). Push the black catch located between the cooling fins outwards and hold. Place the spot lens in the recess.
  • Page 23 2 Fitting – mounting the spot Release the black toggle. The spot lens is locked in place by a spring mechanism. Check that the spot lens is held firmly in place.
  • Page 24 Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops up. Insert the edge of the lens/opt. colour fil- ter into the two springs and press against the springs.
  • Page 25 2 Fitting – mounting the spot Holding it in this position, clip the edge of the lens/opt. colour filter into the notch on the release pin. Press the release pin in until it is flush. It clicks into its end position. The head is now fully prepared and ready to insert into the tube.
  • Page 26 Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops up. Insert the edge of the glass insert(s)/lens into the two springs and press against the springs.
  • Page 27 2 Fitting - mounting the glass inserts/lens Holding it in this position, clip the edge of the glass insert(s)/lens into the notch on the release pin. Press the release pin in until it is flush. It clicks into its end position. The head is now fully prepared and ready to insert into the tube.

    3 Adjusting the tube Tip the Più piano head to one side to reach the inner surface of the tube. By turning the tube, the spotlight can be adjusted to the level of the ceiling. On the version with the cover, a gap between the tube and cover can be closed in this way.

  • Page 48 4 Replacing the bulb To align the terminals of the LED chip correctly: Positive terminal of the LED chip must point towards the positive marking of the LED holder. Incorrect polarity can damage the LED. Attach the LED chip to the pins of the LED holder.
