This Pre-programmed Meat and Poultry Thermometer is the easiest cooking

thermometer you will ever use, as it has an easy to read colour bar indicator. Simply

A. INSTALLING THE BATTERY
Open the battery door at the back of the unit. Insert one "AAA" battery (included), by
following the (+) and (-) polarity signs as indicated.

B. POWER ON/OFF
Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
C. MEAT SELECTION
To select the kind of meat you want to cook, press the MEAT button. The LCD screen
displays the type of meat the thermometer is ready to measure for you. Each press will
change the display in the following sequence:
BEEF / PORK / CHICK (Chicken) / TURKY (Turkey) / VEAL / LAMB / HAM / DUCK /
RIBS / Ground BEEF / Ground PORK / Ground CHICK (Chicken) / Ground TURKY
(Turkey) / Ground VEAL / Ground LAMB / PGM and back to BEEF to repeat the same
sequence.
NOTE: PGM-Programmable alert temperature for user's custom set temperatures, for
example, fish. The preset alarm temperature is 158°F (70°C). You can alter the preset

• DO NOT submerse the probe in water. Moisture inside the probe's plug or
the thermometer might cause an incorrect temperature reading. Always wipe
the probe's plug dry before plugging it into the thermometer.
• DO NOT expose probe or probe wire to open flames of barbeque. Doing so can
deteriorate the probe.

If this product proves to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of
purchase, please return it to the address below. It will be repaired or replaced without
charge upon receipt of the unit prepaid with $5.00 to cover handling, packaging and
