Typical Configurations
Figure 2 illustrates the optimal connection possibilities of the NH 210. One
switch can connect up to eight 10Mbps ports and two 10/100Mbps ports.
Attachments can include 10Mbps and 100Mbps servers, a Fast Ethernet back-
bone, 10/100Mbps hubs or individual stations, all functioning in Half/Full
duplex mode. High-speed port connectivity is over 100Base-TX copper.
Management capabilities enable the configuration of four VLAN groups and
offer per port intrusion control security. It is important to note that Port 1 can-
not be configured as the security port.
