INTRODUCTION Thanks for purchasing this AVT-5641 4x1 Composite, S-Video and Stereo Audio Switcher product from AV Toolbox. The AVT- 5641 is designed to provide high quality switching of up to four Video inputs with Stereo Audio. The unit will accept S-Video or Composite Video plus analog Stereo Audio. -

Please study the drawings below and become familiar with the inputs, outputs and control locations on the AVT-5641. AVT-5641 Front Panel The front panel of the AVT-5641 contains the product’s control switches. The operation of the switches and meaning of the LED indications will be explained below. - Page 7 AC power source. 5.1 Default Operation When the power is first connected to the AVT-5641, the unit will default to input Number One (1) and the LED above the “1” label will light. If you have not connected a signal to input number 1, no output will be present.

First, check that power is present and then check for faulty cables. Make sure the AVT-5641 is connected to a known good monitor and the desired inputs are present. If some input images are acceptable but others are not, you should suspect faulty cables. -
