The compressor comes on less and less often and for shorter periods of
time. The temperature in the appliance rises.
Problem
The temperature in
the appliance is too
high.
The food begins to
thaw.
Information in the display
Problem
"F0 to F9" appears in
the display.
The alarm symbol ;
lights up in the
display and an alarm
sounds.

Possible cause
This is not a fault.
Is the room temperature
lower than the ambient
temperature for which the
appliance is designed?
The compressor switches
on less frequently when the
room temperature is too
low. This can result in the
freezer section becoming
too warm.
Possible cause
There is a fault.
The door alarm has been
activated.
Remedy
^ Correct the temperature
setting.
^ Check the temperature
again after 24 hours.
^ See "Installation advice -
Location".
^ Raise the temperature of
the room.
Remedy
^ Call Miele.
^ Close the appliance door.
The alarm symbol ; will
go out and the tone will
stop.
