    2. Installation Rearconnectors that cannot be used in the FR-6002 will be marked as being so. When used in a FR-6004 the rearconnector interconnections are as shown in the manual. When used in a FR-6002 or FR-6001 chassis the rearconnector is mounted horizontally.
  • Page 9 Leitch chassis. When B-C is shorted together on all these links the normal +6.5 and -7.5V rails are used.
  • Page 10 Within SW2, switches 5 and 6 select the different modes of decoding adaptation available from the DEC-6002 card. Switch 5 acts as the least significant bit and switch 6 as the most significant bit. So 00 (off, off) is decoding mode 0 and 10 (on,off) is decoding method 2.
  • Page 11 Adaption modes 1 and 2 offer intermediate levels of adaption. The selection between the decoding modes is a subjective issue and will be largely dependent on the demands of the application. Switch no 4: Set this switch on to kill TRS on the output when there is no input present.
  • Page 12 Hex Switch: When the hex switch is at zero, all the pot functions are inactive and set to their pre-set values. In any other switch setting (1 to F), the pots are active. The function of the USER led (see diagram page 2)is also controlled by the HEX switch.
