With this unlocked smartphone you can enjoy even faster mobile network speeds with 4G coverage.     Getting Started Inserting a SIM card Your Aquaris M5 is a dual SIM smartphone (micro-micro) which accepts 4G cards in both slots. You can access the SIM trays from the exterior of the device. Do not attempt to remove the battery cover.

    Getting Started Inserting and Removing the MicroSD Card The internal memory of your Aquaris M5 can be expanded to 32 GB using a MicroSD card. To insert a MicroSD card, follow these steps: Insert the point of the SIM key into the orifice of the MicroSD slot.

    If you have inserted two micro-SIM cards into your device, you will need to enter the pin for each card when you switch it on. Every time your Aquaris M5 detects a new SIM, a pop- up window will appear informing you of the default settings for making phone calls, video calls, SMS and the data connection.

    The screen lock will then be removed. Your Aquaris M5 includes a new feature that enables you to lock and unlock your phone by double-tapping the screen. Simply tap any part of the screen twice in quick succession so that it lights up and requests the unlock pattern.

    Home Screen The Home screen or Desktop is your main access route to the tools and apps installed on your Aquaris M5. From here, you can check the status of your device, visit websites, open apps, and much more. Status and Notifications bar. If Wi-Fi is disabled, move the selector to the right and your BQ device will automatically search for and display a list of available Wi-Fi networks, which updates automatically. Press the name of the network you want to connect to, enter the password if necessary and press Connect.
