Possible Causes
No power is being
supplied to the
scanner.
No power is being
supplied to the
scanner from host.
Non-volatile RAM
failure
RAM or ROM failure
VLD failure
There is a scanning
mechanism failure.
The same symbol
timeout set too short.
The beeper is
disabled and no tone
is selected.
Solution
Check transformer, outlet and
power strip. Make sure the cable
is plugged into the scanner.
Some host systems cannot supply
enough current to power
