then may be turned to the left and removed. When you close the lid, it will lock
automatically.
DOORS
DOOR HANDLES-To open the doors from the outside, press the b utton located
on the door handle, and pull the handle.
To open the doors from the inside, pull the interior door handle upward.
STATIO N WAGON TAILGATE - Turn the key in the tailgate lock to unlock and
lower the tailgate window. The power-operated window opens au tomatically when
the key is turned and held. T hen, when t he window is fully lowered, pull the latch
lever on the inside of t he tailgate to open the gat e.
Do not attempt to close the tailgate with the window raised.
W IN DOWS
VEN T WINDOW LATCH-To open the vent windows, press the button on tbe locking
latch, turn the latch upward, and push the window open. When the vent window
is fully closed, it can be locked by turning the latch downward.
Both vent windows should be locked before locking your car from the outside.
