Preparation

Formatting the card (initialisation)

Format the card before recording a picture with this unit.
Since data cannot be recovered after formatting, make sure to back up necessary
data in advance.
Select [Format] in the [Setup] menu.
Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.

Setting Date/Time (Clock Set)

The clock is not set when the camera is shipped.

Turn the camera on.
The status indicator 1 lights when you turn this unit on.

Touch [Language Set].

Select the language.

Touch [Clock Set].

Touch the items you wish to set (Year/Month/Day/
Hours/Minutes), and set using [

Touch [Set] to set.

Touch [Set] in the confirmation screen.

Adjusting the monitor angle

A When closing
1 Flip up the bottom of the monitor lightly to open.
2 Adjust the angle of the monitor.
Be careful not to catch your finger, etc. in the monitor.
When rotating the monitor, be careful not to apply too much force. This may cause
scratches and malfunctions.
When not using this unit, close the monitor completely back to the original position.
