Open the battery door in the back of the scale.

Insert the battery (1 x CR2032) into the battery compartment according to
•
the polarity indications marked inside the compartment.
Close the battery door. The LCD display will show as below.

NOTES:
When the "Lo" symbol appears, the device will power off after about 2
•
seconds. At this time, you should replace the battery.
Worn batteries are hazardous waste. DO NOT dispose of them together
•
with household garbage. Please refer to your local council for information
regarding the correct disposal of batteries.
When in weighing mode, press the UNIT button. You will then be able to select
between g, fl.oz, lb:oz, ml. (Default weight is g).
Caution:
When you finish selecting the unit, you may start to weigh according to
•
the weighing procedures described later.
If there is no further operation, the scale will turn off automatically after 3
•
minutes. Alternately you can hold the ON/OFF/TARE button down for
two seconds to turn the scales off.
1. Place the scales on a solid, flat, level surface.
2. Do not place anything on the scale.
3. Press the ON/OFF/TARE button to enter into weighing mode.
4. You can start to weigh once '0' is shown on the LCD.
