• Make s ure your e xtension cord isingood
condition. When u sing a nextension cord, be
sure touse one heavy e nough tocarry t he
current your p roduct will d raw. Awire gauge
size (A.W.G.) ofatleast 1 4isrecommended
foranextension cord 50feet o rless inlength.
Ifindoubt, use the next h eavier gauge. The
smaller the gauge n umber, the heavier the
cord. Anundersized cord will c ause a drop
inline voltage resulting inloss ofpower and
overheating.
• Donot p oint the blower nozzle i nthe
direction ofpeople orpets.
• Never place b lower onany surface, except
ahard, clean s urface when m otor isrunning.
Gravel, sand, and other debris c an bepicked
upbythe airinlet a nd thrown atthe operator
orbystanders, causing possible serious
injuries.
• Never runthe unit w ithout theproper
equipment attached. Always ensure the
blower tubes a reinstalled.
• When n ot i nuse, b lower should bestored
indoors inadry, l ocked u pplace - outofthe
reach o fchildren.
• Maintain tool w ith care. Keep f an area
clean f orbest and safest performance. Follow
instructions forproper maintenance.
• Donot a ttempt toclear c logs f rom tool
without first u nplugging it.
• Donot p ull o rcarry bycord, use cord as
ahandle, orpull c ord around sharp e dges
orcorners. Keep c ord away f rom heated
surfaces.
• Donot u nplug bypulling o ncord. To
unplug, grasp t he plug, not t he cord.
• Ifthepower supply cord isdamaged, stop
using t heunit.Take the unit t oaqualified
service dealer forinspection and possible
repair.
