Using Your Kambrook Heated Towel Rail
Before First Use
Remove your towel rail from its carton
and associated protective wrapping.
Unwind the cord to its full length and
remove any protective cardboard or
foam that may have been used to
minimise transportation damage.
This appliance MUST be installed
in accordance with the relevant
electrical wiring rules and regulations
and in particular those regulations,
which cover installations of appliances
and accessories in damp situations
such as bathrooms, laundries
and other areas with fixed water
containers.
This towel rail can be either a wall
mounted version or a freestanding
version.
Your towel rail will take approximately
45 minutes to reach operating
temperature.
WARNING: By increasing
the layers of textiles the
operating temperature
will increase slightly due
to an insulation effect.
As the ambient room temperature
increases so will the operating
temperature of the towel rail. Any
such rise in ambient temperature is
generally directly reflected in the
tower rail and as a result of this the
towel rail will feel hotter to touch
during summer months.
WARNING: In order to
avoid a hazard for young
children, the towel rail
should be installed so
that the lowest rail is at
least 600mm above the
floor. The towel rail should
be installed so that
control switch cannot be
touched by a person in
the bath or shower.
