CREATING A PLAYLIST

To turn the unit on, press the (Power
On/Off)/M (Main Menu) button; "Welcome"
followed by "Memorex" will appear briefly and
then the Main Menu will appear on the screen.

Select CREATE A NEW PLAYLIST using the
Volume (+/-)/Scroll (Up/Down) control, then press
the Volume (+/-)/Scroll (Up/Down) control to select
it; the Create Playlist menu will appear.
NOTE: Each time you create a new playlist, the
player will arrange a new number of playlist, i.e. the
first playlist is "PLY000", the second "PLY001", etc.

Select PLAYLIST MANAGER using the
Volume (+/-)/Scroll (Up/Down) control, then
press the Volume (+/-)/Scroll (Up/Down)
control to select it; the Playlist Manager
menu will appear.

Navigate through the folders and select the first song
for the playlist as described on page 17. When the
song is highlighted, press the Volume (+/-)/Scroll
(Up/Down) control 1 to add it. After the track is
added, the highlighter will skip back to the first track
of the folder/album. Repeat this step until all desired
tracks are added. Press the (Power On/Off)/M (Main
Menu) button 2 to return to the Main Menu and exit
the playlist setting.
NOTE: A track can be added as many times as
desired.
