PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK

The DVD recorder in this unit has a 99 chapter programmable memory that allows you to program up to 99 chapters on any
disc for playback in any desired order. You may program 99 different chapters or you may also program certain chapters to
play more than once. To perform programmed playback, proceed as follows:

While in the Playback mode, press the DISPLAY button 1 to
bring up the control options. Select the Playback mode
option using the Navigation (¦,‹) buttons 2, then press the
ENTER button 3. Select PROG using the Navigation (œ,ƒ)
buttons 2, then press the ENTER button 3.

To select a chapter, select a title using the Navigation (œ,ƒ)
buttons 1, then press the ENTER button 2; the available
chapters will then appear in the left box. Select the desired
chapter to repeat using the Navigation (œ,ƒ) buttons 1, then
press the ADD/CLEAR button 3; it will then be added to the
right program box. To go back to the Title menu, scroll to "--"
and press the ENTER button 2.

Select the top selection in the right program box, then click the
ENTER button to start playback.

Two boxes will then appear on the screen; the left box will
show all available titles on the DVD and the right box will show
the program. To select a title to program, select a title using the
Navigation (œ,ƒ) buttons 1, then press the ADD/CLEAR
button 2; it will then be added to the right program box.

To delete a single chapter, select the right program box
using the Navigation (‹) button 1, then select the desired
chapter to delete using the Navigation (œ,ƒ) buttons 1,
followed by the ADD/CLEAR button 2.

TO CANCEL THE PROGRAM PLAYBACK FUNCTION:
To cancel the Program Playback function, press the DISPLAY
button 1 to bring up the control options. Select the Playback
mode option using the Navigation (¦,‹) buttons 2, then press
the ENTER button 3. Select NORMAL using the Navigation
(œ,ƒ) buttons 2, then press the ENTER button 3. The
program will be kept until the disc is changed or the unit is
turned off to the Standby mode.
