    The Phone symbol can display the following states of the hands-free module: No Bluetooth (No symbol): The Bluetooth function is deactivated. Not connected (red mobile phone): The NAVIGON 7310 has no Bluetooth connection to another device. Connected (white mobile phone): The NAVIGON 7310 is connected to a mobile phone and can be used as a hands-free car kit.

    User’s manual NAVIGON 7310 When entering town or street names you need not enter any special characters or umlauts. The navigation system fills in these characters for you automatically. For example, if you are looking for the town of "Bärnau", then simply type in the word "BARNAU". Special characters may be helpful however when naming saved destinations and routes.

    Logbook You can use the NAVIGON 7310 to record a logbook. The logbook is recorded in the "Logbook.xls" file. You can open the file with Microsoft Excel. Each recorded trip is added at the bottom of the table as a new entry.

    Connecting to a telephone The NAVIGON 7310 must be connected to a mobile phone in order for you to use the telephone functions. If the NAVIGON 7310 was last connected to the same mobile phone, the connection will be established without further prompting.

    Note: You don't need to terminate the connection manually. The connection is terminated automatically when the mobile phone is moved a distance of approximately10 m from the NAVIGON 7310. In this case the connection data are saved so that the connection can be restored automatically when the mobile phone is close enough to the NAVIGON 7310 again.
