Possible Causes
Temperature control
dial not set cold enough.
Warm weather or
frequent door openings.
Door left open.
Package blocking air
duct in freezer
compartment.
Door left open.
Too frequent or too
long door openings.
Icemaker feeler arm in
STOP (up) position.
Water supply turned
off or not connected.
Freezer compartment
too warm.
Water shutoff valve
connecting refrigerator
to water line may be
clogged.
Door left open.
Temperature control
dial not set cold enough.

See About the temperature

control dial.
Set the temperature
•
control dial one step

Check to see if package is

holding door open.
Check to see if package is

blocking air duct in freezer

Move the feeler arm to the

ON (down) position.

Wait 24 hours for the
